HRM 2.0: Time to Go!

Some of us (and not only the geeks!) already speak about HRM 3.0... Still, most HR departments and talent management experts are watching web 2.0, social networks and e-HR (instead of using them) and trying to identify added value! The available evidence suggests that, in most companies, the use of Web 2.0 and Enterprise 2.0 in people management and HRM have not yet reached even the “early adoption” stage: only a very small number of Belgium-based organisations experiment with the social media in a really serious fashion. But, in today’s world, homeworking and/or network organizations as commodities within the HR toolbox should not be the issues anymore.

So, what is HRM 2.0 all about?
HRM 2.0 is about managing new stakeholders in a different way. It's about interactivity with our people, connectivity as a key part in our job, speed of reaction and endorsing new roles in our communities. It's also about managing people as individuals (private/professional) and not only as team members...

During these three days, we will develop five different approaches in order to illustrate what the 2.0 philosophy and innovations might represent for you:

> BRANDING: corporate (employer) and personal branding through the web (internet/extranet/intranet)
> LEGAL: boundaries between private and professional life (+ terms of use of corporate tools + opportunities to simplification)
> ADMIN: enabling staff autonomy and responsibility and leveraging practice of one-2-one people management
> LEARNING: gaming/emplayment is the future! Web 2.0 to reduce non related costs, improve flexibility and optimize time of staff (measure of implementation)
> KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT: sharing best practices, stimulate innovation and create learning communities
